Lila Mosberger is a 17 year-old Senior at Interlochen Arts Academy. Her work explores the invisible world of the unconscious mind and the interaction between our dream worlds and the material world. Goldfish, a recurring motif in her work, act as symbols for dreams and passions, which she views as the gods of our internal worlds. Another recurring motif, poppies, represents the dream world. Throughout her practice, she investigates the threshold between reality and imagination, revealing their interconnectedness through space and action. After graduation, she plans to attend MIT and hopes to major in architecture.
